



Reviewed 11 July 2011 Was running late on arrival date so rang owner no problem key left in key safe for me. Had room at top of house but it was nice and cool at night and slept well. Breakfast good and freshly cooked. Plenty of information in room about trams, trains and buses into Manchester and owner had made a map to show directions very helpful. Thank you Paul for the welcome and also business suggestions would stay again if in the area.

Reviewed 28 June 2011 stayed here with 5 friends, we were having a girly shopping day at the trafford centre and needed somewhere nearby to stay.got a very warm welcome and quickly shown to our rooms,paul organised a taxi for us as we were eating out, nothing was too much trouble.i stayed in the front double room, very quiet and comfy, hadnt stayed in a b+b before, only hotels, but would definately go back, breakfast was lovely and we all had a really enjoyable stay.well done to the ivy mount….keep up the good work

Reviewed 22 June 2011 I only stayed the one night and defo would go back… My partner ann was having to stay overnight in hope hospital (salford royal) after an operation due to her renal failure and i needed sumwere to stay.. I rang paul at ivy mount around 7:00pm and he was very freindly and understanding towards my curcumstances and got me my room ready STRAIGHT away!!
The room was very clean and home like.. I felt very relaxed and was very glad of sumwere warm and comfortable to sleep after a very worrying and stressfull day at the hospital!!
The breakfast was very nice and freshly cooked two and there was cereal and choice of cold and hot drinks..
So yeh would highly recommend a stay at ivy mount guest house.

Whether you are visiting on business or pleasure, the Ivy Mount Guest House is the perfect place to stay. We are in a great location for all Manchester has to offer. The Metro, (tram), is a 5 minute walk away. This offers a regular service to the city centre, (about £2.50), and to Old Trafford, Salford Quays, Lowry Outlet and Media City. The M602 motorway, ( junction 2), is a few minutes away, as is Eccles railway station.
At the Ivy Mount Guest House, we can offer an early breakfast from 6am till 9.30am, Monday to Friday, a little later at weekends. We also have free soup and rolls, tea or coffee available from 4.30pm till 7pm, Monday to Thursday. Great after a hard day’s work or shopping. Come and say hi, meet fellow guests.
Sports fans will be pleased to know we are only a couple of miles from Old Trafford, home of Manchester United, and 7 miles from Manchester City’s ground. (both accessible via the Metro) For shoppers, easy access to the city centre, or the huge Trafford Centre is only 2 miles away.
